Franca Traversa

Treasurer

Biography

Born in Turin, eldest daughter in a working-class family. Being a “model” student-worker, at twenty years old she was one of the youngest managers (and a woman at that) of a Fiat Group company.

Her career continued at an important banking group. At thirty-five she left the corporate world to become a consultant. She was the internal and external training manager of a multinational administrative software company until she later became the owner of an affiliated company, which led her to emigrate to Sicily.

In her private life she dedicated her administrative knowledge to volunteering: she was elected National Treasurer in the CNGEI (Lay Scout association member of the FIS and WOSM), and in other territorial organizations.

A series of events brought her to Florida in 2014 where she opened her consultancy firm which, in addition to dealing with taxes and budgets, often acts as a liaison for our compatriots who intend to open a business in the United States.
