Dr. Magda Novelli Pearson is a Teacher Professor and the Italian Program Coordinator at Florida International University in Miami, FL. Magda is also directing three different study abroad programs in Italy, and she is the advisor of the FIU Italian club. 

She is a board member of the Miami based ente gestore O.D.L.I. (Organizzazione Diffusione Lingua Italiana) and one of the founder members of Casa Italia Miami (an Italian non-profit organization that promotes Italian cultural events within the South Florida community). 

Magda has extensive experience of collaboration with the Italian Consulate in Miami, the Educational Office, and with K-12 teachers of Italian from several FL schools. She holds a Master in Teaching Italian as LS and a Doctorate in Italian Studies.
